Pictured is our ‘Summer of Skype’ team winners from the Social Work Student Unit, Family Services enjoying their well earnt lunch by completing their Skype bingo cards and entering the draw.
It’s now easier than ever to work as a team through Skype telephony. One function we’ve had a lot of questions about is moving from ‘Cisco hunt’ groups to ‘team call’ groups on Skype for Business.
A team-call group in Skype for Business is a group of people who can answer your phone calls when you are not available. You can add and remove people to the group, and other people can add you to their team-call group.
If you previously had a Cisco hunt group you would have an associated ‘trigger’ extension number – in most cases a 4-digit duty / internal number extension. You’ll need this number to set up your replacement for your hunt group.
We’ve created a quick guide with screen shots to help you set up and troubleshoot. We also have additional floorwalking occurring over the next weeks, see the schedule and keep your eyes peeled for the blue ‘Way we work’ t-shirts.
