A new purpose-built office building located in the heart of the Colindale regeneration area. Bringing us closer to residents and businesses, our new office is in the heart of one of London’s largest regeneration projects.
A short walk (5 mins) from Colindale tube station, the area has:
- A selection of different cuisines offered, from Indonesian to Italian with an abundance of great pubs, cafés and restaurants.
- Several parks and green spaces nearby for a lunchtime stroll or run.
- Part of a network of new and existing working spaces across the borough.
- Discover the 120 shops including many high street favourites at Brent Cross Shopping Centre, which is short 7-minute tube journey from Colindale on the Northern line.
- A range of travel options including: London Underground and bus services, plus limited parking provision in the local area, which means we will start to reduce our footprint on the environment (see Public Transport for details).

General Building Principles
The office opening hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 8:30pm.
All staff attending the office outside of normal business hours are expected to notify Facilities Management in advance. Reception will be manned by security who will notify you of any visitors who must be collected by you and escorted to your floor. They will need the contact name of the person they are to visit and will be requested to sign in and will be given a temporary pass. It is mandatory for staff ID badges to be worn at all times with the picture and details visible to others. Security Officers will complete checks as part of their routine security processes. Staff ID passes can be arranged via the FM portal.
If you see a person who you do not recognise and who is not wearing a badge, please approach to challenger and/or report to Security Officers. Please also be aware of people ‘tailgating’ or gaining access to the building directly behind you. You can contact the Colindale reception desk on 0208 3593 506.
Fire Warden Responsibility
For fire safety, all tenants are required to have sufficiently trained Fire Wardens in place with compliant certification. In addition, the Facilities Management team can be contacted separately as they can provide a site specific induction for qualified Fire Wardens. This induction covers their duties and responsibility. Please email Sean Patten, Senior Facilities Manager, to set this up sean.patten@barnet.gov.uk
Fire Assembly Point
On the evacuation of the building please proceed to the nearest Assembly Point to your exit following instructions from Security and Fire Wardens. The Assembly Point for evacuating via the south of the building is located in the green open space opposite The Beaufort Pub on Grahame Park Way. The Assembly Point for evacuating via the north of the building will be located on the open space adjacent to Hazel Close. Remain at the Assembly Point until you have been advised it is safe to return. Do not leave the assembly point either by car or on foot without permission.
Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEP)
In the event of a fire or emergency evacuation, Fire Wardens will ensure everyone reaches the nearest exit. Some Fire Wardens and Security Officers are trained to co-ordinate and assist with the evacuation of staff who require extra support. Individual buddies are also trained in this aspect. If you feel you are unable to undertake the fire evacuation procedure without assistance from your colleagues, inform your line manager and they can prepare a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) for you so that in the event of a fire you will be helped to leave the building.
First Aiders

If you have an accident in the building, you should contact the first aider on the floor that you are working on, or contact Security Officers on 020 8359 3506.
The first aider will support and, if necessary, instruct reception staff to contact the emergency services. If you are injured, contact your line manager as soon as possible and complete the appropriate an accident and incident report formto your company.
It is the tenants responsibility to maintain there own first aid boxes.
The first aid room is located on the ground floor if you need to use it. A defibrillator is also located on the ground floor.
