The following policies can be used to inform conversations with your teams and managers about how you embrace new ways of working. These policies may also help you to develop and embed your Team Principles:
- Modern Working Policy – designed to give guidance to managers and employees on the arrangements for hot-desking in specific office environments and to recognise the benefits to the business from allowing employees, whose role enables the post holder to work remotely for business reasons to do so on an ad hoc, occasional basis in a location other than the employee’s normal place of work, maximising productivity and delivering greater value to the tax payer and residents.
- Flexible Working Policy 2021 – Barnet Council is committed to empowering its employees and managers to organise and perform work and deliver services in ways which are flexible and balance the needs and preferences of Council staff, Barnet residents and service users, partner organisations, and other stakeholders. The purpose of this policy is to set out the approach that the Council will take to facilitate the delivery of services in ways which meet the needs of Council employees, Barnet residents, partner organisations, and other stakeholders.
